After a well deserved break, we are set for 2009. Clickthinking’s staff are currently working on a number of very exciting projects including the relaunch of the Seeff website, a social networking project for Vodacom and the comprehensive web strategy for eTV.
There is no doubt thatĀ Marketing Directors and CMO’s are going to be put under more pressure to deliver return on investment on their marketing efforts. Whilst some might turn to the recession as the cause, it should be attributed to a changing economy where the traditional linear purchasing funnel is being challenged by the web and technology.
Traditional Agencies will need to migrate towards value propositioned models to compete. We also anticipate that many of the current digital agencies selling hype, excitement and notĀ much else are going to be put under increasing pressure to deliver results which impact on the bottom line.
